Well, if you want to know about me and why this blog, read on. 

This blog came into existence as I came across a difficult situation of explaining what I do and the security concepts to my friends and family. When I started explaining them in technical terms, you can’t really imagine the confused look on their faces. I then decided to write about security so that everyone could understand it and appreciate it. I think that it is extremely difficult to explain concepts in a simple manner. Most security concepts can be found in books or on the Internet today, however, everyone bombards you with fancy technical terms. My motto, on the other hand, is – Simplify.

Enough about the blog? Yeah, I think that too. Well, coming back to me – When I’m not at the computer, I most often spend my free time reading, writing, cooking, and gardening. I am a big foodie and love to eat at different places and try new cuisines. I'm passionate about researching climate change and how will it affect India.

When I prepared for this exam, there was hardly any material for preparation or blog posts to help me understand the experience of this exam. Cloud Computing - The Logical Model

At a high level, both cloud and traditional computing adhere to a logical model that helps identify different layers based on functionality.  The four layers are : Infrastructure: The core components of a computing system: compute, network, and storage.The foundation that everything else is built on. The moving parts. Metastructure: The protocols and mechanisms that provide the interface between the infrastructure layer and the other layers. The glue that ties the technologies and enables management and configuration. Infostructure: The data and information.
